Indeed!!

I snagged a Stereo box yesterday and am thrilled with it so far...  I was going to try and listen to the albums in order, but found myself skipping around.  I did get through the first three albums in their entirety and there are definite subtleties (spelling?) that are fun.

A couple of funny things I found in the set... (these are not in any way shape or form complaints)...

* each physical CD label has replicated LP label artwork and after the songlistings there is a line that says "Please Please Me mini-documentary" (for example, on the "Please Please Me" disc).   on my "Magical Mystery Tour" disc it says " Let It Be mini-documentary".

* funny (to me) to see the "Let It Be" disc with a green apple instead of the red one.

Also found this out while trying to load the discs into iTunes:  I have two drives on my PC - one CD/CDR and the other DVD.  If I use the CD/CDR drive to load the discs, the last 3-5 seconds of the last song on each disc gets abruptly cut off once loaded into iTunes.  If I use the DVD drive, they do not get cut off.  Maybe that's due to the Quicktime video content on each disc?  Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone had the same issue.

OK - back to diving in.  Loving every minute of it!   :-)

I third that emotion.

I bought all the single stereo CDs except Yellow Submarine. I started off with PLEASE PLEASE ME, then took a stroll down Abbey Road, and was just blown away by the beauty of this music I have listened to for year and know
backwards and forward. It is like hearing it all new for the first time.
Last night I let my son open Revolver and Rubber Soul, his two favorite albums because I think everyone should get a chance to open a "new" Beatles CD in their life.
Today is the White Album. The packaging finally is what the Beatles have
deserved for years.
