Maybe I haven't listened to it enough yet, but it impresses me as kind of being middle of the road. I've already latched on to liking about three songs but some of the rest I can do without.

They are using Roy Thomas Baker, who produced a lot of the early period Queen albums, as producer. And as I said, I've only listened to it a handful of times, so it might grow on me more. But right now, it's impressing me as the Shazam's ill-fated attempt - I don't know why so many bands go through this - of making a "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" or "A Night At The Opera". They seem to be reaching high on this one, but possibly not able to grab what they are reaching for.
