I saw this new film last night in NYC and I had lots of fun watching.  Jack White stole the movie in my opinion.... he is a bit whacked lol but he is passionate about his music and that shines thru in every scene.

I found it funny that White seems to love all unwanted guitars as long as they cost less than say $200 and have slightly bent necks, and loves old blues music, the rawer, the better.... while the Edge has rack upon rack of effects, making layer upon layer of notes and chords.... and Jimmy Page is portrayed as you might imagine as the elder statesmen of the trio, full of polish and finesse...

I think you'll get a kick watching the three of them talking, and showing each other some tasty licks...  when Page plays, the other 2 stand there slack-jawed, soaking it all up....  the film lets you see why each of them developed the passion they have brought to their music...

You'll crack up when you see the ear-to-ear smile Page has on his face when he is listening to Rumble by Link Wray..... and his own form of air guitar....

the only drag is the last 3 minutes or so... they perform The Weight by the Band as the "grand finale" and only Page solos... they could have easily chosen something else that would have shown their individual talents much better... but overall, I gave it a B+ I guess... I had a smile on my face when I walked out
