Given that bands have wildly different levels of money and availability -
and those facets can change wildly for the same band - I try not to. I also
think a lot of bands could use an editor; more time sometimes leads them
down the rabbithole rather than the path.
I'm learning to look at every album as a gift and treat it on its own
merits. Long learning curve, though.
