I'm kinda in the same boat. Maybe it's just "post acquisition syndrome"...I was looking forward to this so much, and that almost always breeds initial disappointment.
"Latherman"? The best Styx song since...well, forever I guess.
I imagine it will keep growing on me, and will comfortably settle into the middle of the pack of their body of work. And middle of the pack Shazam is better than almost anything else in my opinion. They are still the biggest, dumbest (meant as a compliment) rocking-ist band out there.
The bonus discs from NL have some cool stuff on them too!
