Mike,
Thanks for pointing out to Mark B that I was not the one who sent him that
personal email on power pop.
I can't comment on his issue with my posting, as I really don't understand
his point.

I can't comment on your issue with Mark E from the last couple days.... but
you're a bit wrong about the perfect pop band issue... HE didn't send you a
personal email on that, I did because I was compiling the list myself...
If you'll just check your past messages, you'll see that this is the text of
the message I wrote to you back then after you sent me 2 nominations:
"can you please pick just one? that was the idea and everyone else only
chose one
thanks!"
I am sorry that my non-confrontational words offended you... I do a lot of
conflict resolution in my career so I tried to make sure I word things in
the nicest way possible... so I'm a bit surprised I offended you with my one
sentence, but since I did, sorry about that :)

Hey Mark Eichelberger - I'm mostly a lurker here. Direct participation in
the list is, for me, rare. So when I received a personal e-mail from you
instructing me that I responded incorrectly to "Best power pop" by listing
more than one band, I was offended. Now you're doing it again to those who
dared to respond incorrectly to your "___ are my Beatles". Is this supposed
to make it more fun?
