While the Beatles were my Beatles growing up in the sixties, listening to
AM radio, the first post beatles music that really grabbed me, were the
first three Ambrosia albums. That was the freshest sounding pop music that
I had heard post beatles. I still come back to them when I hold up the
musical measuring stick. I never got that they were "prog". It was pop to
these ears.
