My house is now so overrun with recorded matter that most of my purchases
tend to be electronic. This, in turn, has necessitated the purchase of a new
external hard drive to contain my ever-expanding music-download collection.

However, I tend to make exceptions for artists I hold in high regards. A new
CD by The Church or REM, for instance, is a hard-copy purchase. Ditto for
artists who make CDs with passwords to enhanced material on the Web, like
Wilco.

esteemed Mr. Bacino)
