I live pretty close to Bruce, so sightings are pretty easy
a funny thing once happened... I was on the Garden State Parkway and put my blinker on to exit on Rt 9.... I hit the button to turn on the radio and the first thing I heard was:
Sprung from cages out on highway 9
Chrome wheeled, fuel injected, and steppin' out over the line
I thought damnnnnn..... how cool

Bruce Springsteen for me. As a kid of 15, I remember hearing Born to Run on a college station when it was coming out..huddled under the blankets in my bedroom, defying my mother who thought I was sound asleep. The guitars...the lyrical imagery for a kid growing up in a samll town in Wisconsin.. I couldn't stop raving about it at school the next day. And everyone was going "who?"...
