Eric,
I recommend "Little Child" by Gene. I think Martin Rossiter wrote that
for his neices and nephews, but I believe the sentiment works just as well
for an adult daughter.
The song chokes me up every time I listen to it.

Hey everyone.
An old friend of mine's daughter is getting married and he's looking for a
good song for the father-daughter dance. He's looking for something a little
bit off the beaten path rather than the traditional wedding songs. His
tastes run toward classic rock but he's open minded.
I always see great suggestions for topical songs from list members here so
if any one wants to contribute, I (and my friend) would greatly appreciate
it!
Thanks,
Eric
