A few comments...

1) In my earlier post I should've cleared my comment after my nomination (which I maintain) of The Mockingbirds - s/t

When I mentioned I would consider Loud Family's P&B&R&T's the best of the 90's I wanted to emphasize I believe that album could've sold very well if it had been widely advertised/distributed... meaning it would've entered the commercial charts...As much as it is an unconventional (meaning off-mainstream) album, so was Radiohead's "OK Computer"... but both have tracks that survive on their own giving tremendous "singles"... so that's why I dared compare it to U2's swan song album (maybe I'm exaggerating here... am I?)

Anyway sorry for any misunderstanding it may have caused...

Of course... had P&B&R&T's been a commercial success perhaps it would have lost some interest on "Audities"... but that is an issue for part 2 of the challenge...

2) Cotton Mather - Kon Tiki

Bill Silvers <popgeek@gmail.com>: " I'm surprised that I haven't seen it mentioned previously (and if I
missed yours, sorry): Cotton Mather, KONTIKI"

This is another one I considered seriously... I don't think it has been nominated... although it was hinted as a contender early in the challenge:

Greg York <yorkgreg@hotmail.com>: "Myracle Brah - Life on Planet Eartsnop, 1998, Not Lame Records...Some dismiss it as being overly derivative, but what isn't? It rocks, it jangles, it has more hooks than my fishing tackle box. (I guess I'm not supposed to mention that tomorrow it'd probably be Cotton Mather - Kon Tiki)."

3) Not wanting to start any dispute, but someone on the list selected... Fountains of Wayne - "Utopia Parkway"; I'm curious about the opinions on this list. Is it your choice as FoW's best output? I still prefer the debut.. I guess I also love s/t's... :-)
