Mike Bennett has already nominated this one, so in effect I'm seconding his nomination:

Melony, *Satisfiction* (1997)

It's hooky as all get-out, the arrangements and sound are fantastic, it's lyrically clever (especially in light of the fact that English is the lyricist's second language), the song-by-song batting average is very high, and the album as a whole avoids the common power-pop pitfall of slavishly recreating (i.e., rehashing) the British Invasion circa 1965.

Plus, it rocks.
