Push Kings, "Push Kings," 1997

I know people don't like them as people, and their other albums are
awful, but this
is the most perfect power pop album of them all, and the most
evocative (it lyrically
does everything the Raspberries ever attempted, but without a single element of
self-parody), and it took me maybe 20 listens before I realized just
how deep and
how good it was.  Listen to it again, folks.
