Hi all,
Been enjoying the half term results and thought I'd add my
tuppenceworth. These are the best albums I've got this year, in no
particular order...
The Right Ons - LOOK INSIDE, NOW! The party starts right here...

The Pocketbooks - FLIGHT PATHS. Had this for a while but it's not actually
out till 13th July. For fans of Lucky Soul and Candie Payne.

Howard Eliott Payne - BRIGHT LIGHT BALLADS. Candie Payne is on her brother's
album which is cool rootsy folk/country.

Scott Matthews - ELSEWHERE. Not quite as good as his debut PASSING STRANGER,
but it'll do for me!

Trashcan Sinatras - IN THE MUSIC. The boys are back with a bang! Been away
too long...

Oi Va Voi - TRAVELLING THE FACE OF THE GLOBE. Not pop, but very welcome in
the Hughes household...

What I've heard of the Duckworth Lewis Method really floats my boat.
"Jiggery Pokery" rules!!!
Florence and The Machines' LUNGS is good too, but not quite as good as some
would have you believe...
Two thumbs up though for the GOD HELP THE GIRL project. Really nice stuff.
Cheers, Brian
