I know that I'm guilty of shilling/plugging bands and shows. I wish I was more articulate with expressing my musical opinions online but I guess I'm too much of a coward sometimes ;-). I haven't received any angry replies so maybe I shouldn't be so paranoid...lol. I'm on Facebook so if you've liked any of my past picks, feel free to contact me there.
It was nice to see another person here pick up and enjoy Salim Nourallah's "Constellation" release. RIYL : Neil Finn, Elliott Smith, Jeff Tweedy.
I haven't picked up Rhett Miller's new record but it's definitely on my list of things to buy. I saw Rhett play an acoustic set in Austin a few months ago and it was quite a treat. A new friend of mine, Cindy Royal, is a big fan and she was able to snag an interview with him while visiting NYC late last month.
