For me the biggest thing about this list is that it points me to things
I need to investigate. There's no telling how many discs I wouldn't have
without Audities, but it's safe to say that it's a bunch. And now this
little mid-year thread is adding more to my must-hear list. So thanks,
those who have weighed in so far.

I don't have time to pull together the mini-reviews, but here's my best
of so far.

Green Day - just damn.
Antony & the Johnsons
Asobi Seksu
Eels
Franz Ferdinand
Cracker
IAMX (former Sneaker Pimps front Chris Corner)
Jets Overhead
The Luxury
Metric
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart
Phoenix
Snowsera
Superdrag
The Soundtrack of Our Lives
Trembling Blue Stars
U2

/"...it's a lonesome thing to be passing small towns with the lights
shining sideways when the night is down, or going in strange places
with a dog nosing before you and a dog nosing behind, or drawn to
the cities where you'd hear a voice kissing and talking deep love in
every shadow of the ditch, and you passing on with an empty, hungry
stomach failing from your heart." - John Millington Synge /
