I was shocked to learn years ago that the 2nd Shea Stadium concert had something like 10,000 seats unsold.

I'd expect more than a 30 minute set for my money, too.

Monkees- I'd put my (very subjective) top 15 against any other artist, and they would still rate highly.
And I do mean ANY other.

but the Top 40
was still irrefutably,

Not Lame   ;-)


PS: Many little hidden nuggets
to be found within these pages,

such as a report from 66
on how poorly the Beatles did
(meaning the thousands of unsold seats)
on their last North American tour.

Good thing
the Monkees came along
to save rock 'n' roll.....
