Quick follow-up to Rub Wrongway's informative post...

An album from that label -- "A Telephone Built for Two" by School for the Dead -- is my "favorite 2008 release that I'm really enjoying in 2009."

Stick-in-the-brain melodies, poptastic arrangements, clever lyrics. "Feel Like I Should" -- the first song in the queue at the band's Myspace page -- is one of the ones that feature Chris F.O.W. Collingwood vocals (and it would work nicely in a mix with "Barbara H"). I love its opening lines:

"Your friends are all laughing at something you're saying.
Maybe you're funny -- or maybe they're nice."
