First off - way, way cool. 2nd, did you catch Howard Tate? (only
partially kidding).
Also, glad you said "1971, which, by the way, was the last time
these 2 guys played a *set* together". A number of accounts I read
got that wrong. Because back in late 2002, Cyril played 2 songs
with Loney's band (the Diletones?), including Teenage Head, at a
very cool club on Potrero Hill called Thee Parkside. I know because
I was there, as we'd moved to SF that summer. James Ferrell & Larry
Lea (who is a very funny guy!) were in the band.
