Don't feel bad Mark. I am the same way. And with the abundance of
live DVDs out there well. The beer is cheaper, and usually better,
no crowd noise other than the occasional child asking for something,
but pause and I don't miss a note. Do I miss that "live" feeling?
Maybe, but the upside far outweighs the downside for me.

Aside from the late start times; and this may just be me getting older - people just talk through gigs more and more these days. So I've paid $60 to get the train somehwhere and typically another $100 for a hotel because it's too late for return train. All on top of the $20 to get in. I find myself thinking that I may as well just spend the money on albums and listen to them at home.
