Recent downloads for me include :
Johnny Goudie and The Little Champions, "El Payaso" and there's also a maxi-single for the song, Battle Scar, which has a few tunes not found on El Payaso. I'm highly biased here as Johnny is one of my favorite songwriters and performers in Austin TX. His previous release, Boy In A Box, might also be available on emusic.
The Urges, "Psych Ward" - a garage rock band from Dublin that an acquaintance told me about. They're a recent add to Little Steven's Wicked Cool roster.
The Week That Was - angular British pop from one of the members of Field Music.
Scissors For Lefty - Consumption Junction EP. I first saw this SF band at SXSW a couple of years ago. Quirky, eclectic, hooky, dancey alt-pop.
