Hey folks,

Here¹s a UK singer/songwriter I want you all to check out.

Click on his myspace while you read the rest of this email:

www.myspace.com/andrewmpisanu

A customer of mine told me to check him out and I was instantly taken with
his voice and his songwriting. He has a band called The Lost Souls Of
Pompeii who I had only been so-so on before, but his solo recordings are
just sublime.

After listening to everything on his myspace page a couple of times I wound
up on his website http://www.musicglue.com/andrewmpisanu where you can
download his entire EP ³Songs About Love, Death and the Death of Love² for
free (only two songs from the EP appear on his myspace page...Going Going
Gone and Broken Bones). But here¹s the kicker...if you pay £5 for a CD he
records the cover of your choice and adds it to the CD as a bonus track.

After you pay by paypal he drops you a line and asks you what cover you¹d
like him to record. I took my cue from his bio and asked for his pick of the
Abba ballads, and my CD arrived this morning with the most beautiful,
unironic piano and voice version of ³The Winner Takes It All²...just
phenomenal.

What¹s more, the CD came in customized Mr. Men book with a personal note
from Andrew along with the handwritten tracklist.

I found the whole experience so refreshing, and I was reminded that even a
jaded old fart like me can get excited not just about a new artist but about
the way they present their music.

Do check this guy out.

Luke
