Hey folks,

I recently finished digitizing my whole CD collection, and the last of them
to get onto the drive were the discs I received as a member of SOTT rounds
13, 17 and 19.

You may know what SOTT is: Every year or so, Auditeer Bill Mastro takes on
the labor of love of gathering a few dozen other pop fans, having them all
make mix CDs and send them out to everyone. In other words, you join a SOTT
round (the latest one just started up), make a pop comp and then get scads
of other comps put together by people whose tastes echo yours -- or don't,
but in a very interesting way. Some are heavily themed, with brilliantly
obscure song choices, elaborate sleeves and cross-fading and all; some (like
mine) are just burns of what I was loving at that moment. Every time a SOTT
box arrives, you drown in great music for months.

But my SOTT keeper tunes are now safely on my hard drive --and my backup
drive-- and I don't need the discs themselves anymore. I figured, why throw
them out when somebody on this list in my town would be happy to stop by my
place near WeHo and pick them up?

So, LA locals, who wants to drown? E-mail me offline.
