If anyone is interested (which I know some of you are), there is a new
Spongetones CD in the works. If you've bought one of their last two with
their "Tonefolk" service, you know that they offer advanced, signed copies
for a fee. Here's the announcement from Jamie Hoover with a link on the

Spongetones New CD !
The Spongetones are putting final touches on our 12th record, appropriately
containing 12 brand new tunes, and if you're still reading this, you are a
Spongetones fan and would love to know the details, such as:
The songs range from sweet ("Inevitable you") to lustful ("Lost Weekend");
slow ('She'll Be Gone" to hard and fast ("Talking Around It') and even one
collaboration by all three songwriters ("It Can't Go On Forever").
'What to call this record?" said Jamie Hoover. " 'Scrambled Eggs' is a good
temporary name," said Pat Walters. "That's better than the title you had
yesterday," said Rob Thorne. And so "Scrambled Eggs" it is, and if you just
smiled, keep reading, because I think you'd want to be a part of this.
We've used sponsors to help with the last two records, and this time the
deal is this: for 30.00, you get a CD with your name in the credits,
autographed by all four of us, mailed to you before the general release.
