I think this is the new version of what I use
http://www.bagsunlimited.com/cart/detail.asp?cat=2&subcat=415&product_id=su13417
It cuts down on space by 75%. I have finite cd storage, and these have
saved my ass. Not perfect, but it's just cds. I hate, yes hate jewel
cases. The worst idea ever. Mini cardboard would have been the way to go
from day one. Long boxes... wot a waste.
there are loads of options. My theory is to leave a few "mile markers"
on the shelf, which will probably be replaced by divider cards to help
find stuff. I realize by doing this, I can't see everything I have,
which is a few more that your own 2k. Just the price of owning this
format too.
The other option is mylar resealabe envelopes, which I use for cardboard
sleeve stuff. they are cheap and all the parts fit. You just loose the
spine to find stuff. That is expected with any storage solution.
good luck...
