Round 22 is just about ready to go - at this point we have 30 people this
round. I have been dragged on to Facebook and decided that I would start a
SOTT group there that we could also utilize. If you would like to join, I
am the Admin, and you can look it up under SOTT

>> The base rules and guidelines for SOTT are as follows:
>>
>> * Everyone in the group makes a brilliant mix CDR ( please use an 80
>> minute CD)
>>
>> * The mix should be somewhat jangle, power pop/rock pop/pop related, but
>> we
>> all like to push the envelope, which is encouraged. I usually include

>> my
>> own take the best mixes have a variety of sounds and genres and mix rare

>> the openness and eclectic nature of SOTT is one of its best features.
>>
>> * Once you make the mix you dub a copy for everyone else in the group -
>> last
>> time we were about 30 people the time before almost 50, so there is a lot
>> of
>> dubbing.
>>
>> * Most of us post liners/set lists with comments to the other members -

>> to A SOTT group on Yahoo. The liners don't have to be elaborate
>> but they raise anticipation levels and give a sense of the different
>> directions people have taken, especially if you post liners early in the
>> process.
>>
>> * Some people create elaborate and wonderful jewel case inserts, but for

>> what you want I adjust to make mailing easier and really like John's

>>
>> * Once you finish all your dubs mail them to me..
>>
>> * Include return postage and costs in an appropriate amount in American

>> Please

>>
>> * Once I get everyone's mixes, I repackage and send everyone a package

>>
>> * Please understand that SOTT is a commitment, a commitment that is a lot
