Not to rain on anybody's parade - although since I'm from Oregon, one
might say that such comes naturally - but I'm seeing that Any Trouble's
album was released in 2007.

(I am also glad it was brought up, since I missed it until yesterday as
well).

Although that one missed the cut for me, it's a very good record; will
wind
up somewhere between 26 and 40 - if you like AT you will not be
disappointed. Also right around the same spot on my expanded list is
RIBBON
OF GOLD from Paul Collins - the closest thing to a Beat record he's done
in
years; ditto on the recommendation. Just the fact that these are where
they
are on the list reinforces my annual realization that there were many,
many
good records - just maybe not where I expected them to come from.

Glad to see an 11th hour rush for Eli "Paperboy" Reed...on my short list
of
"albums I haven't heard yet" but my best friend swears by them and has
traveled to see him 6-7 times across the NorthEast. Judging by the
comments
it sounds like some of you, like him, were knocked out by the live show.

(He's not an Auditeer but we swap lists - I guarantee Paperboy is in his
top
3, if not #1). I just never got around to picking it up and it was
strongly
hinted that it would be a Christmas gift (which we exchange with lists
on
Super Bowl Sunday). Sorry Eli!

And Mike Viola, if you're lurking, the only reason I didn't list LURCH
is
because it was on my 2007 list, which is when I bought it.
