Hey Gene,Bill Nelson released 5 titles in 2008, one of them (Clocks and Dials) being a double disc. Pretty amazing. Anyway, Clocks and Dials and Golden Melodies Of Tomorrow are vocal albums and both are quite good. I give the edge to Clocks and Dials because it has more variety. His guitar style of late has leaned more towards a softer jazz touch but every now and then he tears into that old Be-Bop Deluxe mood. And as always, his e-bow technique is unequaled. As far as Jules goes...he is one of my all time favorites too. 'More' isn't one of his best albums, but it gets bonus points just being Jules album at all. It's more of a 'rocking' album, maybe sometimes to the point of distraction. When he came to South by Southwest a couple years ago to promote 'Dreams Don't Count' he opened his sets with the song 'More' which one of those Jules classics. If you don't already have them, I've got very rare and out of print copies of 'Watchdog' and 'The Eternal Return' on CD. They were only very briefly released in Japan. I'm always happy to burn copies for Jules junkies. Just let me know.
