After a long period of the situation being reversed, the US/UK
exchange rate is decidedly in the US favor at the moment. The Attic
Lights CD is available from Amazon.co.uk for the equivalent of about
sixteen bucks including Air Mail shipping. Shipping from Amazon UK is
cheaper than you might expect, because the listed prices include the
VAT -- national sales tax, basically -- which is subtracted from
packages shipped to the US, so you're getting a price break.

I just gave myself a post-Christmas treat of that new Cherry Red box
set that's 8 CDs with the a- and b-sides of every single and EP they
released from 1978 through 1983. It was already $40 cheaper at Amazon
US than it had been in October when it came out, but by ordering it
from Amazon UK, I got the Cherry Red box set, the second series of QI
on DVD (admittedly only useful because we have an all-region DVD
player in the bedroom) and the new book by Danny Wallace (UK humorist
whose great book YES MAN was mutilated into that horrible-looking new
Jim Carrey movie) for a total of $10 less than I would have paid for
the box set alone at Amazon US.
