this is another album that has come off the shelf this year. I had two
copies at one time, a UK and a US promo. when I sold off a lot of stuff
in 1985, I kept the US copy. After reading so much about it recently, I
took the time to review it. Great little record. I think it's got a bit
more Syd sound and lots of fuzzy guitars. I didn't know there was a
reissue. I'll have to investigate. I did a pretty good job of gathering
up a lot of stuff in the 60's and early 70's when you could find
originals. Problem was, a lot of these records remained unheard until
now... not a bad thing I suppose. I had my fave at the time... I think I
have a non lp single too. well, to be honest, I have loads of non-lp
singles, just not all by July. Get it

... on a related note, I collected some early classic "powered pop" the
same way... Tommy Hohen, Blue Ash, Poppees etc. I had access to a lot
of records, free or cheap, so I just bulked up for a later date.

I have avoided making up a list, because I can't remember much of this
year. I have had to bury myself in making music to work my way past some
"bumps in the road". I know there are some things I really dug, and it
made me happy to say I grabbed a few new things. You'd have to look at
my radio play lists to see... I'm too damn lazy to do it myself.

happy news years to all of your too. and a better year is hoped for all
of us, right?
