I think that I mentioned this Austin garage rock/power pop band just over a year ago. They've definitely grown on me through the year. Performances keep getting better and they're about to hit the studio next month to record an EP. They released their s/t debut earlier this year. In Sept, they won a contest to earn a slot at Austin City Limits Festival. This week I can't get enough of the video clips from their most recent gig (12/08/08 at The Parish in Austin). You can watch all 12 songs from their set at http://www.switchburn.com. Their set is mostly new tunes along with a few songs from their debut CD and 2 covers.
