PS: I once saw a military helicopter lift a large geodesic
     dome from the NC State Fairgrounds (where my dad was PR
     Director) and fly off over the horizon. My understanding
     it flew it the dome all the way to Texas. I'm sure Fuller
     was there but @10 I wouldn't have known. He taught as
     NC State School of Design at the time. Domes were cool
     but they leaked and were hard to carve up into rooms.
