"Incongrous"? I don't believe so. Being ill does not completely remove you from reality. I never said she was clinically insane.
She was probably another self-congradulatory Gen-Yer who was told all her life by her coddling parents that she was talented.

She knew the premise of the show but was probably so self-delusional that she thought she'd 'wow' them.

Rob, these 2 statements are incongruous. Was she sane or "ill"?
If "ill" the verdict for her "handlers" is depraved indifference.
