Mitch Mitchell passed away today.   Although he's best known with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, my personal best memory of him is playing with The Dirty Mac at the Rolling Stones' Rock N Roll Circus backing John Lennon alongside Eric Clapton and Keith Richards.
