I'm only half way through this disc, but unless the second half is a complete turnaround, this is a major disappointment.  The band's Kinks-y charm has been processed away by overly slick production and bland songwriting.  They even re-record "Coming Home" in a decidedly inferior version.
 
I'll need to pick up the deluxe version of Warren Zevon's eponymous album tomorrow to wash out the bad taste of this stinker.
