Indeed !

But I'll always give BW the slight edge
in the Songwriting dept.

Lindsey, I've always felt,
often writes "records" as opposed to songs,
if you can catch my drift

(as was made even clearer
when I saw Buckingham in concert a couple of weeks ago:
Even his alone-with-guitar segments of the show
relied quite heavily on racks of processors
and an array of foot pedals).

(....not that there's much of anything wrong with that ;-)

The vast majority of Brian's magic songs, however,
sound just fine in their most naked of settings:

Acapella, sitting around with an acoustic,
sing-alongs at the beach, of course.

That all said,
Lindsey is an absolute musical treasure,
and is one of the few giants from our youths
who continues to produce not only quality,
but CHALLENGING (to himself and to his audience) material.

And for that,
I'd tip my hat if only I owned one,
