Well, this brings back memories. Buying singles at The Harvard Coop
in 1977 and 1978 - usually 50 cents a pop, sometimes a buck. I bought
so much there - all the early Sex Pistols vinyl, Damned, The Boys,
anything from NYC from teh time, as many Boston local bands I could
afford and.....
the occasional LA band that would make it across the country - my fave
of them all was: THE NERVES. 4 perect pure power pop treasures. 50
cents.
And that was all there was.
Paul Collins formed The Beat. Peter Case formed The Plimsouls and we
were all the better for it! :-D
But other than occasional comps(including a track in the Shake Some
Action book), no full CD compilation. Until now. YEAH!!
