What Stewart said below is so true (except for "Sowing The Seeds Of Love"... awesome, awesome tune.)

Here's the lowdown on the other discs:

ELEMENTAL (1993) - The first post-breakup album. It's basically all
Roland Orzabal (singer of "Shout", "Sowing The Seeds"). And he's
pissed at his ex-band mate Curt Smith. It's not a particularly
cohesive or poppy album, but "Break It Down Again" was my summer
'93 anthem, and "Goodbye Song" and "Power" are notable. This
disc is probably best for super-fans.

RAOUL AND THE KINGS OF SPAIN (1996) - I'm not sure if this is a
concept album of sorts, but the titular Raoul seems to show up
in one form or another in several of the songs. "God's Mistake"
is pure pop, "Secrets" is a powerful ballad, and the title song
really kicks. But, again, if you're more familiar with "Songs
From The Big Chair"-era TFF, and you're not a huge fan, then
this is one to cherry pick the best songs from.

SATURNINE, MARTIAL, AND LUNATIC (1996) - A collection of B-sides and
remixes. Again, for the true fan, but!... there are some *great*
songs on here. "New Star", "Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams",
and my personal favorite: "Pharaohs", a haunting instrumental with
a "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" conceit of old radio broadcasts weaving
in and out of the music, with a mid-song break that harkens back
to their biggest hit. I happen to love this disc more than the
previous two, and I listen to it quite often.

EVERYBODY LOVES A HAPPY ENDING (2004) - The comeback/reunion disc.
Roland and Curt made up, and this is the result. And let me tell
you, it's GLORIOUS. Lush, layered pop/rock that finds the duo
reclaiming old ground but carving a new sound at the same time.
The title track is great, "Call Me Mellow" is infectiously catchy,
"Closest Thing To Heaven" soars, "Who You Are" boasts a huge chorus
and sound, and "Secret World" is in the vein of "Sowing The Seeds Of
Love", but more pop and less Beatles. Another kick-ass album. I
listen to this all the time.

And, if you're super-dedicated, there's a 2-disc bootleg out there chock full of other B-sides and demos and unreleased songs. Again, I'm a completist, so I've got it all!

There you go! Happy listening!

    mood these last few days)
