Four more good things:

1. It was originally supposed to be the climax of a side-long oratorio 
of songs that Webb wrote for the Association, which would have been a 
remarkably over the top artifact if, sadly, they hadn't turned it down
2. The Negro Problem's great mid-90s cover
3. Dave Thomas' even better SCTV skit where he played Richard Harris 
on Mel's Rock Pile
4. Harris gets the name of the park wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME he sings 
it!  Much like the Book of Revelation and Mary Hopkin, there's no S!
