I second the Gaslight Anthem recommendation, especially if you have  
an affinity for 80s era E Street Band like 'The River'. Other stuff  
I've downloaded and enjoyed recently:

All Girl Summer Fun Band - Looking Into It
The Postmarks - S/T
Matthew Sweet - Sunshine Lies
The French Kicks - Swimming
Private Jets - Jet Sounds

Looking forward to checking out the Don Dixon and Del-Bombers  
tracks... sounds right up my alley!
