"One Shining Moment" by David Barrett. Not a hit, but this nauseating
ditty has ruined the end of every college basketball season since
1987. I can tolerate Dick Vitale screaming "It's awesome, baby!" for
six months, but a couple minutes of that song drives me nuts. Vitale,
by the way, coached at my high school.

Other annoyances:
"Stairway to Heaven"
"Imagine"
"We Will Rock You"/"We are the Champions"
"Roundabout"
"Boot Scootin' Boogie"
95 percent of what's played on classic-rock radio.

Support rock 'n' roll. Don't listen to classic-rock radio.
