Yes, yes , yes to The Week That Was. Not sure it has overtaken the Field
Music records in my affections but I like it better than the School of
Language record.
I was disappointed when Field Music split up but it's actually just meant
more releases than we would have had if they stayed together, plus there was
talk in a recent interview of a new Field Music album.
They are one of the few bright lights in what has become, in my opinion, a
particularly poor, unadventurous and dull UK music scene (at least where
guys with guitars are concerned). Glasvegas may be an exception to this,
though I'm yet to be 100% convinced.
