There.s a lot to be said for Frightened Rabbit as well. I like those guys as well.

they're on my list of Scottish bands I've been listening to lately,
but not at the top. then again, I cast a pretty broad net in what I
like...so...there's a lot of different stuff on my "Scottish
band/music obsession" list of late...

lately, my top two bands have been Dropkick and Frightened Rabbit.
Dropkick is due for their second release this year!
but other bands I've been listening to as well:
Ardentjohn
The Deadbeat Club (r.i.p)
The Endrick Brothers
God-Fearing Atheists
Green Peppers
Make Model
Mr D
Popup
The Primary 5
The Twilight Sad

that's just off the top of my head. and never mind my 16+ year love
affair with Teenage Fanclub....

Glasvegas are touring the US soon, if not already. they're here in DC
next week, but a severe lack of $$$ forces me to miss many shows
upcoming.
