I"m really diggin' it. I think it's a great sophomore album for them.
they've added keys and I like it. in fact, there was a fourth guy
playing guitar and keys at the show I saw. I can't say for sure if he
was there for their live shows previously, but it was also a little
weird that he was practically off stage/out of site.

I think the new songs allow for even more singalong fun, and a touch
of swagger.
my favs so far on the album, are the single "Mistress Mabel" "Acid
Jazz Singer" "Look Out Sunshine" and "Milk and Honey" the last one
was amazingly beautiful when I saw them perform it on the "Live from
Abbey Road" show on Sundance. there it was a little more stripped
down.
the thing that struck me at the Philly show was that it was their
first headlining tour, fans were dancing and singing along, and they
were genuinely thrilled and humbled by the appreciation from the
crowd. I think they made a comment like "that settles it, we're never
going to play arena shows ever again" (probably referring to the
opening slots for the police and festivals, etc.
in my opinion, it seems they prefer to have a smaller venue where they
can connect with what's going on in the crowd.
