We've just received the new 70 minute DVD from THE KINGS:
"Millions of music lovers around the world know the hit segue "This Beat
Goes On/Switchin' To Glide", but relatively few know much about the
Canadian rock band The Kings who wrote and performed that classic
summer radio smash.
Here, for the first time, the original members of The Kings, David
Diamond, Sonny Keyes, Max Styles and Mister Zero tell their story in
candid detail and with their trademark humour.
Hear about the creation of 'Beat/Switchin'', recording with famed Pink
Floyd and Kiss producer Bob Ezrin and how the years of hard work
rehearsing and gigging paid off with a major US record deal with
Elektra Record which led to an appearance on Dick Clark's "American
Bandstand".
Also included is the hilarious tale of their first US show, a
disastrous opening slot for Jeff Beck in Denver that saw the band on
the receiving end of a barrage of debris from the crowd.

specifically for this project as well as more formally produced music
