Well, I think this whole issue arose from the fact that the label itself doesn't really seem to be interested in promoting the record...or, at the very least, they can't be bothered to follow up with Michael's request.  My good fortune with scoring an interview didn't have anything to do with the label; we were contacted via Rick's own publicist rather than anyone from Universal. (By the way, I have duly steered Michael her way and, though I have no reason to believe that my recommendation holds any weight whatsoever, I spoke highly of him to her.)
