All this talk of his new CD peaked my interest, so I gave the snippets of it 
a listen at iTunes.  A couple of the songs are a bit too slick for my taste, 
but a few more piqued my interest.   Not sure if I will download any of 
those songs, but it would be nice if he got some hits out of this release. 
He deserves it.

I'm thinking I'm sure to get flamed for this, but has anyone bought and 
listened to the new Rick Springfield CD?

Listening to "What's Victoria's Secret?" takes me back to when I first heard 
"Jessie's Girl" on the radio. The first week I had the CD my kids wouldn't 
let me get past that first track, which to me is pretty much what makes a 
great pop song. The rest of the CD is really good too in my opinion.

I also think it's amazing in this day and age that it charted at #28 in its 
first week on the Billboard 200.
