Les Crane, of "Desiderata" fame, although said he preferred
the National Lampoon version. He passed away last month but I
just found out via Ben Fong-Torres weekly radio column in
today's SF Chronicle.

Crane also helped pioneer modern talk radio @KGO 810 in San
Fransisco in 1961-62. Anyone who put Prof Irwin Corey on the
radio in 1962 gets my praise. Not only that, but one of his
many wives was Ginger aka Tina Louise.
