The Philly songwriting great was 59. This is a big loss for
Pennsylvania music:

too bad....growing up in the Philly area, he was big-time when I left
for LA in 1981, and kinda 'over', in an industry way to some degree
when I got back in '84....no matter: between himself and the Hooters,
they had the area pretty sewn up....
