Don't know how many of ever saw Martin Shears or the Scones live (not me, unfortunately), but I got to tell you that their one CD, 1999's "Do You Hear" is FAN-EFFING-TASTIC!

I first heard "Everyday's A Saturday" on Billy's Live365 powerpop station and it grabbed by ears and wouldn't let go.

HI FRIENDS AND FANS.
WOW. I Can't believe it's finally here
After 14 years of making music together, playing in numerous
countries, and selling records all over the world, this amazing ride
is coming to an end.
In case you didn't know. My family and I are moving to the Monterey
Peninsula in California to start a new recording/label venture. And
while I'm excited for the new challenge, it will be strange and a
little sad to not be playing for you all or with the incredible
musicians that I've been so fortunate to have in the band. That
being said I will be returning periodically to the valley to do solo
gigs and perhaps reunite the band from time to time.
But for now we want to celebrate the time of The Scones and say
thanks and farewell to you our friends and fans for listening all
these years.
THE SCONES WILL PERFORM THEIR FINAL SHOW ON JULY 12TH AT THE WRIGLEY
MANSION 9PM. AND I'M NOT KIDDING, IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING!
